Paul Natrall, Mr. Bannock Of The Squamish Nation Wins B.C.'s Indigenous Business Award For Young

Congratulations to another one of our star Indigenous business training participants and entrepreneurs, Paul Natrall, Mr. Bannock of the Squamish Nation whose commitment to learning and persevering has resulted in outstanding business achievement and winning this year's BC Indigenous Business Awards in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category.

Paul will be the sixth entrepreneur to win an award since we started the business training program in 2012 at the Squamish Nation.

Paul Natrall, Mr. Bannock, Squamish Nation

When we first met Paul a couple years ago, he was going through some fairly big obstacles to get his business off the ground, but he always stayed the course.

In two short years his food truck is now often seen at many high profile events in the Vancouver lower mainland and his catering business serves many prestigious corporate clients.

Paul is a testament to how having a dream can become a reality by learning what steps to take through education and training (Paul attended Activ8's business workshops at the Squamish Nation), accessing resources available to Indigenous entrepreneurs, and taking action to make things happen.

You can have the best business idea in the world but it is building a plan, putting it into action, gaining momentum and pushing forward no matter what shows up that creates ultimate success.

Paul has been covered by local and national media, he hires, trains and employees people from his community, and he is often found contributing to local charitable causes and fund raisers.

We couldn't be prouder of him and hope that other aspiring Indigenous entrepreneurs see that Paul is an example of what is possible when you believe in yourself and put one foot in front of the other.

Visit him at www.mrbannock.com for any catering requirements that your company may have. We are thrilled for him and will be attending the awards ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on October 17th cheering him and the Squamish Nation on!
